object VORTEX TUBE LIGHT The Vortex Tube Light continues the collection’s exploration of the interplay between nature and technology, uniting classical references with contemporary design. Floral and skeletal motifs evolve into technoid figures reminiscent of machine components, again questioning binary notions of “feminine” and “masculine.” Flat surfaces are shaped into complex three-dimensional forms through laser cutting, bending, and layering. The 162 aluminum parts are bent by hand on a segment bending machine, and 252 bolts function as both structural and decorative details. Fragmentation and reassembly reveal the process, emphasizing the craftsmanship embedded in the design.
