Flora Lechner (born 1994, Vienna) is a designer based in the Netherlands. In her work, she takes an interdisciplinary approach and combines design, moving image and sculpture. She likes to see her works as small stages or potential spaces for action and plays with the idea of activation and stagnancy. In her work, she combines theory and practice by experimenting with the interplay of storytelling and materiality.
By exploring the boundaries of production methods and aesthetics, she aims to break through conventional ideas of optimization and question traditional notions of beauty and craft.
