The Stamen Light can be placed on the floor or on a platform. It belongs to a collection that explores the relationship between nature and technology and blends classic and contemporary aesthetics. Seven light sources are surrounded by aluminum “stamen” leaves, creating a lively interplay of light and form. Flat surfaces are transformed into intricate three-dimensional structures using laser cutting, bending, and layering. The 100 individual aluminum parts are bent by hand on a segment bending machine, while 156 bolts serve both structural and decorative roles. The process is revealed through fragmentation and reassembly, exposing the craftsmanship as part of the design itself.
