OUT  OF PROPORTION –

PICK  ME  UP!
Out of proportion – Pick me up! opens a handbag and reveals its contents. The space becomes the bag itself, container and recipient, and gives visitors the opportunity to view the normally inconspicuous objects “rolling around” in size of furniture pieces. An “Alice in Wonderland” feeling sets in: objects such as hair clips, safety pins, hairballs and others are proportionally inflated, ten times larger than in reality. This enlargement causes a shift. The usefulness and value of the individual objects elude the usual system of classification, from the small cheap hair clip, which can easily be lost, to an object which takes up space and gains dangerous features similar to a hunting trap.
